In collaboration with Wyeth, Catalyst is developing Alterase™ Therapeutics that recognize and degrade one of an exciting new class of metabolic disease targets.  This target has been recently validated in animal models of metabolic disease but is expected to be difficult to antagonize with either small molecule or antibody therapeutics.
